It is compact barcode in which every pair of numbers is represented by single character and known by other name USS ITF25, ANSI/AIM ITF 25, USS ITF 2/5, 2 of 5 Interleaved and 2/5 Interleaved.

Structure

The structure of Interleaved 2 of 5 barcode symbology consists of leading quiet zone, start pattern, interleaved symbols representing data, an optional check digit (mod 10), stop pattern, trailing quiet zone, and bearer bar.
