Code 39 is discrete and variable Code 39 barcode was formed by Dr. David Allais, and Ray Stevens. Low density barcode symbology that includes uppercase letters A-Z, 0-9 digits, special characters such as space, period(.), dollar sign($), minus(-), slash(/), percent(%), and plus (+). Code 39 is designed of 43 characters with miscellaneous characters as start/ stop character (*). Font is comprise of digits (0-9), uppercase letters (A-Z) and special characters like space, period(.), dollar sign($), minus(-), slash(/), percent(%), and plus (+).
Code 39 barcode structures is integrated with nine bars in which three bars are wide and rests of them are narrow And single character of Code 39 made up of five black bars, and four white bars along with intercharacter space to provide gap in between characters.
